“Circus” is a song performed by American pop singer Britney Spears. The song was recorded for her sixth studio album of the same name. The song was written and produced by Dr. Luke and Benny Blanco. The song was announced as the second single by Spears’ official website on October 31, 2008.

Soon after the release of the album, the single “Circus” quickly rose to #1 on iTunes.

The video is set to premiere December 5th, 2008 on Entertainment Tonight. However, due to the leak, Entertainment Tonight decided to move up the world premiere to Thursday, December 4.

Human is the upcoming fifth studio album by American R&B singer Brandy, to be released online and in stores in the United States on December 9, 2008. The album marks Brandy’s debut on the Epic Records label, following her split with Atlantic Records in 2005.

Ruby Lin 2008 New Album

Though first and foremost an actress, Taiwan sweetheart Ruby Lin has dabbled as a singer on and off in the last decade. Returning to music with her first album release in over four years, Ruby is as bright and beautiful as ever, and showing markedly improved vocals. This time she took an active role in the production process - be it song selection, recording, and music video planning - to create an album that truly brings out her character and style. Ruby also collaborated with renowned stylist Chen Sun Hua, who previously worked with divas Jolin Tsai, Elva Hsiao, and Stefanie Sun, to present a fresh new look. The album revolves around the city-girl perspective on life and love, starting with the uptempo first plug “Onion Soup” (Track 2), a post-breakup song that takes a positive tone about starting anew after the pain. “Used to It” (Track 4) should also strike a common chord with many listeners, as the lyrics describe a relationship that has run its course and lost its spark, but still difficult to give up. Other songs include “One Person’s Romance” (Track 10) and second plug “I Thought It’d be Fine as Long as I Don’t See It”, for which Ruby traveled to Beijing to shoot the music video.

Evolve

Often praised for her acting, beloved TVB actress Myolie Wu is no less talented in singing. She has sung a few theme songs for some of the drama series she starred in, and finally she is releasing her first album Evolve.

The 8-track CD features Myolie’s new songs including “Traveling Single” and “Now and When” (duet with Vincent Wong) which is a remake of her radio drama song “One Plus One”. Fans of her TV dramas can find her past theme songs like “Fortunately” (from War and Destiny), “Miss Pig” (from To Grow with Love), “Today the Saddest Day” and “Grateful For You” (both from Wars of In-Laws II, the latter a duet with rumored boyfriend Bosco Wong).

寫給自己的歌

The album may be Dedicated to Myself, but the songs are meant for all the dreamers out there. Singapore singer-songwriter YiDA Huang pours his personal thoughts and feelings into his latest album while trying to strike a chord with every music lover.

YiDA’s fourth album contains “Love is Selfish” (Track 4), a melancholic meditation on relationships; Set Me Free II (Track 8), an experiment in Gothic Rock. “Right Here” (Track 5) features lyrics written by Ella of S.H.E, Mr. Y (Track 6) reveals a humorous side of the reserved singer. Last but certainly not least, he gives us I’m YiDA (Track 9), a 10-minute epic for which he spent a whole year on the arrangements, and the self-explanatory closing track To My Fans.

Cho Lam Everywhere

Hot in Hong Kong as an up-and-coming actor, emcee, DJ, stage director, and one of the Super Trio game show co-hosts, now Wong Cho Lam can add one more profession to his name: a budding singer-songwriter backed by idol-makers EEG. The diminutive yet multi-talented artist is well-known for his masterful comedic performances and vocal acting, and he certainly is no stranger to singing having previously sung some kid show songs, but his lyric writing credentials are only just getting recognized, too. His aptly titled debut album Cho Lam Everywhere features first plug “Impatience” (Track 1) and other cuts, including “Piggy Baby Un-Gu-Gu” (Track 2), “Lookalikes” (Track 6), and “Beauty and the Beast” (Track 9), many of which are written by Cho Lam himself.

I'm New, I'm Good, I'm Derrick

Voted “the most likable boy of the year” in an online poll, Singapore singer Derrick Hoh got his record deal after finishing third in a singing contest in 2005. However, his debut album had to be put aside for a lengthy spell to make way for his military service. When the long-awaited first album was finally released in Singapore, it broke the territory’s single day sales record, and earned him a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Singapore Hit Awards. The album features “Unclassified”, “Knock-Out Love”, “Overhead Bridge, Underground Pass”, and Derrick’s cover of the Van Fan (star of Cape No. 7) song “I Believe”, as well as his own compositions, “Pronunciation”, and “Croatia Sky”.

The Red Album

The Red Album is Stephy’s fifth album and the first one titled without the sizzling “S” word. Released on the same day as her new movie Nobody’s Perfect, the album features new songs “Chinese Cold Noodle”, “Love and Jealousy”, “Calmness”, “Nursery Rhyme”, “Typhoon”, “Actually I Want…”, “The Snow of Kyoto”, and “Girly Red”. Having established herself as a wildly popular singer and actress in Hong Kog, it is logical for Stephy to try to break into the Greater China market, and this album includes two Mandarin tracks, “Bitter Romance” and “Dreamlike”, that may hint at even greater prospects for the former Cookies captain.

Serving You
