
Miley Cyrus this week becomes the second-youngest artist ever to amass two #1 albums on the Billboard chart. The 15-year old star tops the chart with Breakout, her first album released strictly under her own name.

Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl” starts a third week atop the Billboard Hot 100 this week, but Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” is closing in fast, rising 4-2 in its 13th week on the tally. Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop” slides 2-3, while Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love” drops 3-4.

The Pussycat Dolls will perform their latest single “When I Grow Up” for the first time in Asia at the MTV Asia Awards 2008. Their new single is doing well and a huge success in the US . When I Grow Up peaked at #9 at the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
Rihanna’s latest single jumped from no.53 to no.1 this week on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. This was the second-best leap in the chart’s history behind Maroon 5’s “Makes Me Wonder”, which jumped from 64 to 1 in May 2007.
The song also opened with the third highest digital sales tally in Billboard Chart history amassing 267,000 units sold in one week after being available only on radio. The song has become Rihanna’s second number-one single from her album Good Girl Gone Bad after “Umbrella” topped the charts around the same time in 2007 and her third number 1 overall.
In this week UK chart, The Ting Tings jumped straight to the top of the singles charts with their catchy shout-pop tune That’s Not My Name.
The Ting Tings knocked Madonna from top position, and her tune 4 Minutes featuring Justin Timberlake, fell to number three.
Rihanna’s new entry Take a Bow went in at number two, while Will I Am’s Heartbreaker stayed put at number four and Wiley’s Wearing My Rolex dropped three places to number five.
