David Cook is the major-label debut album (second overall) from seventh season American Idol winner David Cook. It will be released on November 18, 2008 in United States. It has produced a top twenty single, “Light On.
The first single released was “Light On”, which was released to U.S. radio on September 30, 2008. The song sold 109,000 digital downloads in it’s first week of availability, leading to a #17 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 and #8 on the Hot Digital Songs chart.
“Declaration” was debuted on November 2, 2008 on Saturday Night Live where David performed with his band. It is unknown if this will be the second single or not.

David Archuleta is the self-titled debut album of American Idol season 7 runner-up David Archuleta. It is slated to be released on November 11, 2008 under the label Jive Records. The first single, “Crush” was released to radio on August 1.
